About Us
NaamDosh is a small Indian service that calculates, according to Chaldean numerology, how well the written form of your name fits your date of birth — and, where it does not fit, suggests ways of writing that name whose pronunciation stays exactly the same.
In short
- We check how the written form of your name fits your date of birth, and show the working.
- The same name and date always produce the same result — you can verify it any time.
- If your name already fits, we say so and do not ask you to change anything.
What we do
You enter your name and your date of birth. Our engine derives your Naamank from the letters of your name, and your Mulank and Bhagyank from your date of birth, then examines how those three numbers relate to one another and scores that relationship. The whole calculation is shown to you as it happens.
If your name does not fit your date of birth, the report gives you three corrected ways of writing it. And if your name already fits — which is the case for roughly one person in three — we do not ask you to change it. The report is then about the balance of your birth numbers instead.
What we do not do
We do not promise any outcome, and we do not ask you to change your name on any government record. Nothing here is medical, legal or financial advice. The Disclaimer page sets this out in full.
We also do not ask for your phone number or email address, and we do not sell your information to anyone.
The calculation is consistent
The same name and the same date of birth always produce the same result. The report is not stored anywhere; it is regenerated from the information you provided each time you open it. That means you can check it again at any time.
